It is a matter of great pleasuer to know that some of the alumni of my beloved Dihibagnan K. B. Roy Higher Secondary School are going to design a website of the Praktanis. I am really excited to see the website in shortest time with fullest & stylish presentation. I personally boast to be a student of first batch 10+2 curriculum of the school. It was always challenging for the first batch of a new system of education, more challenging for being in a school with minimum infrastructure and difficult communication. But at my mid sixty age, I still relish that all these challenges vanished within few weeks of joining the school as well as hostel (I was allotted one of my teacher's under construction room). It was possible only by affection, divine love, maximus sincerity and friendly attitude of my teachers. I am now a Principal of a prestigious Govt. Medical College but everyday I feel proud and excited if I can speak and teach my students with kind heart similar to my teachers of Dihibagnan K. B. Roy Higher Secondary School.

My school is always in my heart and will be sure to be there till my last gasp. I pray to Almighty God with my passionate to bess our school with all present, past and future students.

I had an opportunity to join Dihibagnan K B Roy H S School in the year 1977 in XI Science Stream. The school was an epitome of excellence. In each subject there was a real teacher to take care of our all needs for real Education. We were being loved by not only by Teaching, nonteaching, support staffs but also by the people of Dihibagnan village. All took care of our developments in studies and extra curricular activities. I remember the flood of 1978 when we rescued many local families while it was raining severely. Although I was a student of science stream I was a friend of Arts and Commerce batch and loved by each one of them. To name a few teachers, i want to mention our Head Mater Sri Prabhat Sarkar, Jahar babu, Panchubabu, Monomohan babu who were more than a teacher but fatherlike figures. In service life I had interaction with many teachers in reputed school but I had observed some shortcomings in them. But Dihibagnan teachers were incomparable. A school should be like this only. I still cherish each moment of 1978-79. My memory will take pages to write. God has given me a chance to read in this School. I thank Him for this. Any time I am available to contribute something for this School and its Associates.

It must be a great pleasure and unique lifetime opportunity for me to join the programme for celebration of 75th years of my Alma matter, K.B. Ray Higher Secondary School of Dihibagnan along with my teachers, Seniors & juniors & my beloved batch mates. Reaching the institution campus after so long years, every Alumnee must be nostalgic with old & sweet memories of student life with a deep sense of attachment with teachers, non-teaching staffs and of course with friends & surrounding environment.

It must be mentioned that with active participation of all of us, the celebration programme will be a grand success.

I express my deep sense on gratitude and regards to the organizating committee members for inviting me to be a part of the grand celebration of my Alma matter.

I have studied in this school during 1984-86 (HS) and ever indebted to it. To me schools are temples of learning and DKBRHS is an epitome of that. My experiences and memories in DHS is amazing and I can never forget the sincerity and dedication of my teachers. I will try my best to support and attend this function. 

I appeal to all the Alumni for their wholehearted support and involvement for this celebration to make it a grand success. I wish the organisers all the best

It gives me immense pleasure to get connected with you all through this web portal. The idea of hosting the website in the name of Praktani Samsad was an instantaneous one and I must not forget to extend my special thanks to my brother Arka for his wholehearted contribution in designing this web portal. A road map for celebration of the 75th year of our alma mater was conceived in the year 2016 when some of our alumni met together in our school premises. Needless to mention that in the education system, involvement of alumni always plays an important role in the overall growth and prosperity of an institution. I am sure this occasion will provide us a platform to Reconnect & Rejoice; Cherish our good old memories; Create dreams for the future and to go through the old memory lane.
